The ZOLL® AED 3 is the newest ZOLL AED on the market. The ZOLL AED 3 continues the ZOLL tradition for performance, design, dependability, and durability. The AED 3 features a color touchscreen LCD display, Real CPR Help®, and is WiFi-enabled for Program Management, Defibrillator Dashboard® Cloud Connection, RescueNet® Case Review â„¢, clinical event case push, and UTC synchronization.
The ZOLL AED 3 and AED 3 BLS use features designed to fit the responder. The AED 3 has been designed for the lay rescue responder featuring the CPR Uni-Padz III electrodes to be used on either adult or child rescues. The AED 3 BLS has been designed for the professional responder and features the defib monitor found on ZOLL's ALS devices and the dashboard has expanded displays with an ECG monitor also found on ZOLL's ALS devices.
The ZOLL AED 3 also features Enhanced Real CPR Help. The CPR Dashboard displays the actual depth and rate of compressions numerically, along with elapsed time, CPR cycle count, shocks delivered, and ECG.
The Integrated Pediatric Rescue on the ZOLL AED 3 makes pediatric rescue simple with the CPR Uni-padz III (or the Pedi-padz II for the BLS model) electrodes and a child mode button which configures the AED's algorithm and delivers pediatric-appropriate treatment without the use of an attenuator.
The ZOLL AED 3's rugged design has been built to function in extreme environments and features an IP Rating of 55 and a 1-meter drop-test rating. There is also Wifi and USB connectivity with the ZOLL AED 3 to facilitate transmitting and/or downloading event data.
The ZOLL AED 3 comes with the CPR Uni-padz III Adult/Pediatric Electrodes (CPR Stat Padz Electrodes for the BLS model), non-rechargeable lithium battery, and an 8-year warranty (6-year Standard Warranty plus 2-years with Registration).
The ZOLL AED 3 is available in three different configurations: Semi-automatic (user must push the shock button to deliver treatment), Fully-automatic (AED 3 will deliver the shock on its own), and BLS for Professionals and First Responders.
